dare I say this is the best spiderman movie

I don't know what to say about this apart from rambling about how perfect it is, but it really is just perfect.

I was so excited to watch this because i heard it's so good and it really is that good. It's so beautiful, and Ethan Hawke's and Julie Delpy's chemistry is insane. I absolutely adore the way it's shot and the simple intimacy portrayed through the dialogue and action. The way they speak to eachother, and how easy it is for them to become comfortable with eachother, makes me believe in soulmates. The listening booth scene could be one of the most romantic scenes I've watched, the way they look at eachother, after only a couple hours of knowing eachother, is adorable. The way they keep looking to and from each other OH MY GOD. The ending is so sad, beautiful and tragic but also so fitting. I think its so strangely perfect that their love and passion was so short-lived, and it shows that love is sometimes complicated, but nonetheless beautiful. I think this might be one of the best romance films I've watched and I regret not listening to the hype sooner.
