Despite it being a propaganda film I couldn’t help but still being somewhat entertained

I compared the first film to karate kid (1984). And I’m gonna compare this film to karate kid 2. Not needed but still fun with cool moments Besides that the film is kinda just boring Compared to the first 1 the stakes get raised. “High stakes high reward”  it just did not deliver It’s still not a bad movie. If you go to watch it don’t expect it to be the same level as the first one or higher  You also need to be in the mood for it. If your not in the mood for a film like this you probably won’t have a great time I’m seeing a pattern with Kurosawa final scenes. Big cinematic events/fights I blame the studio because Kurosawa didn’t even want to make this. The studio made him and there was demand with the first 1 being a hit I’ll rate it a high 5 to a low 6. Watchable. Fun at times. But boring for the most part
