genuinely raw and vulnerable dialogue is something I’m coming to expect from Celine Song. The script itself was meandering, but some of the conversations between characters in this film were so captivating and human. huge shoutout to the cinematographer and DP for some truly gorgeous shots from start to finish. I had seen some interviews with the director and I think she 100% delivered in her commentary on modern relationships. There’s also some fun visual storytelling peppered throughout. My mom would love this.

really captivating animation. very straightforward story. loved how it had its own signature aesthetic. such an original take on melding history, folklore and modern pop culture. overall, would definitely recommend

Can’t believe a bee was the reason why these 2 didn’t kiss until they thought Y2K was gonna happen

It’s been so long since the last time I saw this movie that I forgot I based my entire way of speaking around it.
