Truly an incredible performance by McConaughey. Not only is the physical transformation super impressive, but his ability to show the sentiment surrounding HIV at the time and the characters change from homophobia to someone who just wants to help is something only a master could achieve. I also loved the way that the timeline was set up, going from the initial 30 days to years after he was diagnosed. Never felt anything overwhelming when it came to emotions and if you know me, you know that's what *makes* a film to me. Still no complaints, great film.
