Possession

The symbolism in this movie is unreal. From start to end it is one whole metaphor enabling so many different interpretations. I adored the imagery of the monster being used as a representation of the couples toxic relationship - to the outside world it’s repulsive but to each other it gives a sense of comfortably, a sweet relief. The use of body horror is unlike no other I've seen, it’s grotesque with a hint of elegance utilising blood in such a stunning way.
