Frankenstein
*Rest now, Father.
*Perhaps now, we can both be human.
Truly breathtaking this was. Outstanding job by Jacob Elordi, easily his finest work to date. Soon to be an extremely big name in the coming future. His encapsulation of The Creature was so human and truthful. Did not expect this film to have me so teary eyed the whole time. To see ones self as an ‘it’ rather than a human is a very common and complex thought throughout all human beings. Being lost in ones self, and to find something that ive battled with and most humans deal with, purpose.
I can go into deep detail about the relationships between a father and son and how del Toro indulged most of the decision making in these characters from there past experiences and tramas from ones father. I rather keep this is my mental instead of writing a 10 page essay. But figure I would at least point it out.
