I have a super fun night planned. First, I’m going to watch this with a work treat. And then Project Hail Mary will hit digital in a couple hours, so I’ll be watching that after this! I worked super hard at work today so I think this is the perfect way to reward myself! My two favorite man and rock films. ❤️

> *“I made you a ship. It’s ramen.”* 10/10 would recommend watching this late at night! This was one of those films I had to buy asap when it became available on digital. I feel like by now, I’ve developed a bit of a fixation on this film. I just love so much about it and it’s constantly been on my mind since my first watch. I feel like the more I watch it, the more I connect it to 127 Hours, which I love so fucking much. Makes me geek out a little! I could easily write an essay about how similar both films are, but I’m not sure if any of you would be interested in reading that. Watching it at home isn’t obviously as good as watching it in IMAX, but I’ve got a decent setup, so I don’t mind! It was nice being able to watch it while using my headphones and enjoy the sound. The visuals are still mind blowing, too. Last night was by far one of the best movie nights I’ve had this year. Can’t wait to do this again!

How has it been almost a year since I last watched this? The last time I watched this, it was my second favorite film and third special interest. But then I came across Kpop Demon Hunters, and then Project Hail Mary. So this is currently my fourth favorite film. This was also my second most logged film til I started watching Kpop Demon Hunters. Funny how much things can change in a year! Anyway, this film still rules. The animation is still my favorite in any film. It’s stunning. All of the characters were so well written, too. I also love the voice acting. Even though this is ranked lower in my favorite films list, I still love it so much.
