Vinland Saga

I started watching this one rainy afternoon and had the first season finished that same day, the thrilling nature and the fast paced of the first season was magnificent. The plot was masterfully crafted and the animation did exactly what was needed. The first season was an easy 10/10. The second season was so much slower and missing in all the action that the first season was so abundant in. Although I enjoyed the strategic, beautifully coordinated, visually stunning fights and just everything from the first season I actually preferred the second. The character development of thorfin was the only true lacking area of the first season as even the side characters were masterfully utilised to their fullest, well written potential. The second season left me in awe, from about halfway through I had truly accepted the masterpiece that this was. After the last episode I pondered the show for a little while and even now I think about it as I scroll past it on netflix
