Inglourious Basterds
I can’t sympathize with those people, in this movie they were represented as the “heroes” of some kind, and they’re shown as badasses. Yet you can see how they -the viewers- hated the way Tarantino presents them simply because they like to be seen as victims. A mindset that is passed for generations.
Tarantino made a character for life, Hans Landa is by far one of the best characters I have ever seen, the charisma and the presence that comes along with him is something I haven’t seen a lot in cinema.
The “alternative reality” part was good, not that I liked it but I see how it helps wrap up the story and end the arcs most characters took from the start.
The ending was bad, five years since I’ve seen this movie and to this day I think the ending could’ve been way better.
Good movie overall, one of Tarantino’s best.
