Full of shit jokes but there’s almost an abundance of great laughs as well. Definitely works best when it’s actually taking the piss out of horror films. But some of the comedy is surprisingly amazing, probably making this my favourite ZAZ-style parody film bar the real things. Even some of the references of films I haven’t seen are enjoyable. This spawned a horrendous wave of shit comedies, which makes me dislike it more, but as a standalone parody film this is very, very respectable. It’s just a shame that some of the humour falls very flat for me, and actually makes me reverse time and negate my previous laughs. I’ve took half a star for off that. But it’s still really good, and I didn’t even think it was this good as a kid.
