Prisoners

This is not a movie, this is emotional torture in the best cinematic way possible. Hugh Jackman’s performance is volcanic. Jake Gyllenhaal proves he’s in the elite league. He is what this Gosling guy pretends to be. Denis Villeneuve creates tension so thick it’s suffocating. A criminally underrated director in my opinion. Morally, psychologically, ethically devastating.
