ok so this one i actually expected a little more from since it was so hyped up and the visuals looked pretty promising, but uh... not the best movie i've ever watched. and thats pretty big coming from me cuz i honestly never dislike or hate any movies, i'm a pretty big movie lover. like... this movie is pretty old but stay was even older and it did much better than this, whatever was going on in this movie. first of all, the characters felt so shallow and empty, none of the relationships held any meaning or bond that interested me enough, especially between the driver and irene. though, the husband of irene (standard) was actually pretty interesting so he became my favourite (which unfortunately didnt stay that way for long cuz he is now gone). and the plot was just.. like any other movie and the ending was what really disappointed me because like what? that's it? the poor driver just loses everyone, and he is just gonna live that way? just like that? brother. yes ryan gosling played as the driver in this movie. yes he looked good and yes his acting was phenomenal. but gosh this movie was a bit of a let down. and the fact this was based off of a book as well. erm, alright!
