Prisoners

So I've actually been wanting to finish this film since I was a child because I always remember this film always coming on Film 4 while I was watching TV with my parents. Anyway so now that I've actually finished it, have to say that this film is actually a masterpiece. I mean I know what Denis Villeneuve is capable of because of Dune I & II but when it's a more grounded story it just hits even harder, especially with how he just effortlessly builds tension in every scene. Think that the cast is also incredible; such a privilege to watch both Jake Gylenhall and Hugh Jackman deliver such intense performances. Makes it impossible to look away with their back and forth.
