A Separation
I’m honestly having a hard time writing this because i still need to process everything that happened. What struck me the most is that there are actually no bad guys here. Everyone was just overwhelmed, grieving, frustrated, exhausted and desperate. They were all driven by their own pain and fear. Because we are all human. That’s what makes it so heartbreaking because i cant seem to blame anyone fully.
And the part that crushed me is the old man with alzheimer’s. You can’t blame him for anything. Watching those scenes made me imagine if i’m in their place, taking care of someone i love while everything else falls apart. I don’t think i could handle it. The thought of ever leaving my parents alone terrifies me. I love them so much. :(
May Allah grant the best of health to both my parents and my grandmother who is my only grandparent left. Aamin. ❤️ cried so bad even while i’m writing this. I’m so grateful for this, it makes me wanna hold the people i love closer.
