i love this series so much !!!!!!!! the tone of the series is really not what we think it is, it's as if they are misleading us to end up talking about another subject in reality it mainly talks about internalized sexism, systemic patriarchy and the cliché of the woman in power who should systematically be manipulative and vicious while in reality the Mermaid in the series is not the woman, it's the man and calling the series Sirens says a lot about the real messages of the series, the mermaids in all the legends are described as bewitching, manipulative, murderous women, thirsty for power and that's all the series tries to make us believe about these womens, there is the whole plot !!! oh and i would like to talk about the actresses they are so amazing their acting is breathtaking especially Julianne Moore's, Milly Alcock's and Meghann Fahy's !!! and i love the atmosphere of the series with the fog, the dreams, the birds, it reinforces and emphasizes the messages that the series wants to convey love it ‼️
