Oldboy
After watching no other choice and loving it, I decided to give Oldboy a shot. Only thing I knew about this film was that it was a crazy revenge film; and holy shit was it crazy. For half the film you’re stuck thinking “what the hell did he do to bro to make him that mad?”. When I found out the big reveal my jaw was genuinely on the floor in horror, never thought a plot like this could even exist/work as a good film. I wish I could say more but I figure if you haven’t seen it, it’s best to leave the reveal for the first watch. Such a bleak and dark film but in all the best ways.
