The Menu
what an amazing movie in such a short run time. Chef is an excellent character whose presence on screen is chilling but also has this slight comedic touch to him that Ralph Fiennes does so well. The camera work is creative and stunning finding a way to show off each course exceptionally. The dynamic between Chef and Margot is so interesting to observe even though they only get a few scenes one on one. Margot herself is such an incredible protagonist ans her inner conflict shows how complex her character really is. Even something as little as the background music elevates these scenes making them tense and exciting as well as communicating these emotions without just spelling them out to the viewer. Overall The Menu is a visual masterpiece with excellent acting and tense scenes that could have anyone on the edge of their seat. The short runtime makes the menu an easy to put on movie yet it doesn't feel like you’re missing out on anything that could be explained with an extra twenty minutes.
