uncomfortable

okay so take this w a grain of salt because im not rly keen on the hunger games series (both book n film) but i REALLY dont see why people rave about this somuch (sry abel ik u keep telling me to see this) which is such a shame because i genuinely like suzanne collins’ worldbuilding and what her stories represent. but i couldnt bring myself to properly enjoy it … maybe its the pacing? it felt too long yet too short at the same time, it did not ground me to feel snows character nor understand the extent of lucy grays impact on him and the whole plot was just yeah i get the message but the execution was just a bunch of bs its like jumpy???? idk im not good w words i hope im right w how they skipped a lot of details from the book whats great is that it does make me want to read the books so! maybe ill rewatch after doing that :) i hope ill enjoy the haymitch one more

they should have died in space tgt but this was beautiful it was cute it made me emotional

my expectations were LOW low so i was quite surprised by how much i enjoyed it… like 30 mins before i was internally debating whether i should jump off a motorbike but This was immersive enough for me to forget about that for a while. it felt like delicious sour candy wrapped in the most god awful terrible packaging cause what is up w color grading in recent films? some of the wardrobe were questionable (emilys was ATROCIOUS) but okay im down w the plot of miranda potentially getting kicked off + the galleria vittorio scene was BOMB (id say i reallllyyyyy vibed w the entirety of the milan sequence DEF a step up from its prequel) but andy was boring they executed her way too similarly to the first film! a few scenes were funny a few were an attempt at being funny but overall my most likely maybe definitely biased little fashion nerd self gave this a ❤️ because id def watch it again as a form or comfort
