nice follow up sequel that manages to recapture the charm of the original while feeling somewhat fresh. the story builds naturally on the first film, and the performances from the four returning stars meryl streep, anne hathaway, emily blunt, and stanley tucci are great, bringing both familiarity and growth to their roles. that’s all.

great watch from start to finish. the portrayal was unreal, it really brought the character to life in a way that felt authentic and engaging. overall, the movie itself was well done, and everything came together nicely. it was just a genuinely good time and definitely worth seeing.

went into this with pretty low expectations, and honestly it kind of delivered exactly that. it’s not a great movie by any stretch, but it’s got enough fun moments to make it a decent, easy watch. the real highlight is the dave bautista and jason momoa duo they’ve got solid chemistry and carry most of the entertainment. you can tell they’re having a good time, which makes it more enjoyable than it probably should be. not amazing, but not a waste either. definitely wouldn’t mind seeing those two team up again in something better.

haven’t seen this in years, and it hit just like the first watch. it feels personal, unpolished, real. such a beautiful film by spike lee quietly heavy, never overexplaining itself. it just sits with you.
