Psycho

Psycho is not my favourite Hitchcock but it's a damn good thriller/horror. Perfect pacing and direction are supported by a gripping plot without the suspense ever growing tired. Also the uncut version was surprisingly violent but still done tastefully. Some highlights for me are the staircase scene, the shot of the car sinking into the swamp, and the impeccable score. Solid 9/10.
