Kramer vs. Kramer

a movie about divorce that somehow feels like a warm hug, if that hug also involved a lot of yelling, crying, and dustin hoffman learning how to make a french toast. meryl streep and hoffman give performances so intense, you’ll wonder if they actually lived the plot, and by the end, the cinematography is as subtle as your mom’s advice (sanaol may nanay pa) on how to raise a kid: simple yet effective. it’s the kind of film that makes you question your life choices, but in the best way possible. just don’t watch it if you’re emotionally fragile… unless you’re ready to cry about parenting, cereal, and 70s haircuts as a sick and bored teenager.
