"Although I hadn't seen him in more than ten years, I know I'll miss him forever." Is childhood innocence a bliss? This movie made me reminisce on my childhood friends I do not have contact of anymore, memories that were created in pure bliss. Uncertainties and anxieties will still fill your mind relentlessly yet you will still find yourself overcoming them one way or another. I miss my childhood life. I miss being innocent, free from guilt, anxiety, and harsh reality. I miss being in a blissful child life filled with nothing but innocence. Just like, River Phoenix in the film, doubts and worries from a 12 year old indulged him in a sense where future was something he was sure of. We may be existing in the certainness of life but it does not mean living the way through it should be certain as well. I may not be that much in contact with them but they will still hold a special place in molding the way I am today.
