Sinners

Holy CRAP was this movie absolutely AMAZING! Ryan Coogler cannot prove himself more, I mean dude is genuinely the most underrated director in the industry. I loved how the aspect ratio of the movie kept changing and it wasn't jarring either, like I barely noticed it throughout the movie. Obviously the acting was TOP NOTCH Hailee steinfeld and Micheal B Jordan were obvious standouts. The way Michael B played both the twin brothers was absolutely amazing. Obviously Ryan Coogler had HUGE impact on that aswell because the way he shot it was phenomenal. Don't even get my started on the story, the movie LITERALLY starts with the 3rd act and instantly hooks you in. I really like how the movie just feels like a fun yet religious - ish movie untill we reach around the 45 minute mark where we see the vampires for the first time. The whole sequence with Sammie singing the song and conjuring the souls from the past and future was absolutely breathtaking the visuals were phenomenally done by the VFX team. Watch this movie RIGHT NOW if you haven't already, cause it is genuinely one of the best movies I have seen In a WHILE!
