Dear Zoe
As an older sister, I understand her. Two years ago, my sister had an accident, and I still blame myself for it. For most people, this film portrays a dramatic, irresponsible older sister, but for those who understand and live this every day, it's something deeper.
Thank God my sister recovered well and is perfectly healthy, but unfortunately that's not what happened in the movie and in the lives of many real people. Guilt haunts us every day, keeps you awake at night, and makes you overthink, "What if I had taken longer? What if I hadn't gone out? What if I had cooked?" And it doesn't stop, your own mind torments you all day long. Believe me, guilt is a horrible feeling. I connected with this film, I could see it from the perspective of someone who felt the same guilt as me, who was haunted just like me. This film portrays exactly how we feel.
