Quality: 5/5 Enjoyment: 4.5/5 Context: 4.5/5 Another Nolan epic

Why do the men need to constantly save the women both physically and morally? Why did we centre this movie around a nothing character? Why did they make Supergirl so fucking weak? Why do they rely so hard on superman to carry this movie? Why does she kill the guy in the end? Why did she bring only the suit with her to Kara? Why didnt he kill the girl in the cell? Why are such nothing burger villains constantly out manuevering and out powering the strongest characters in the DCU? Why did they make krypyo a maguffin damsel to be saved? Why does the suit mean anything to her? Why does the girl only get beat up and fail but manage to Deus ex win when she needs to? Why did they waste Milly Alcock and Jason Mamoa for a first time feature writer and relatively obscure director? Did we need the flashbacks? Why did they choose the most laughably bad needle drops? Did we need to do this?

My 500th movie and I cried It's a really beautiful story of friendship in the face of adversity and troubling home lives and the power of creativity. Also deals masterfully and in a way a child could understand with loss and how someone can create such an impact on our lives If this didn't have the action scenes and focused more on the emotional core of the movie it would be even better
