> ***Three lives , one story*** ***โ[My 2026 Movies & Series Ranked ๐ฌ](https://boxd.it/TQIoG) โ***[***war~time films***](https://boxd.it/So5Po)* I genuinely think this is a beautiful film, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see it receiving recognition at the Oscars. There's so much to appreciate here, from the cinematography to the music, the performances, and the way everything comes together I have to admit, though, that films dealing with queer experiences and themes have always felt a little distant from me. Not because I can't appreciate them, but simply because they're not subjects I naturally connect with. I don't want to pretend otherwise just to sound open minded or give tthe film more credit than I genuinely feel it deserves. And yet that never stopped me from appreciating what the filmmakers accomplished here What I found particularly interesting was the waay the film moves between different periods, introducing us to different people, their lives, and their individual stories. At first, they might seem disconnected, almost like separate films living within the same one. But gradually, everything starts finding its place, until those different lives become connected through a shared event, a common idea, and something much bigger than any individual character I really liked the way this was handledd The story itself wasn't entirely my thing, and I didn't connect with every aspect of it, but I still found something beautiful in the way each character is given their own space, their own history, and their own freedom to exist. Nobody feels like they're simply there to serve another character's story Technically, almost everything worked for me. The cinematography is wonderful, the music adds so much to the atmosphere, and the performances are genuinely good. There's a lot of care behind the way this film is put together, and even when the subject matter isn't particularly close to me, I can recognise that * > *Perhaps that's what I appreciate most about cinema:>>>* * you don't always have to personally relate to a story to recognise its beauty. Sometimes, simply understanding what a filmmaker is trying to bring together is enough **List๐โ[Most anticipated movies&series&docum.. of 2025/26 ranked by my taste](https://boxd.it/S2IoM)***

> ***nostalgia for something i can't explain*** ***โ[Every 5/5 I Gave in 2026](https://boxd.it/WSsb8) | โ[shorts](https://boxd.it/VQHL8)** this is probably the second greatest short film i've ever seen i don't think i fully understood everything i was watching, but i felt things i can't quite explain, and somehow that feels just as important there's something about this short that makes me feel like i'm looking at memories that don't even belong to me. memories of a childhood long gone, of a world that once felt warmer, of a kind of tenderness that we spend the rest of our lives trying to find again i kept thinking about a mother's love, about the comfort of being a child, before the world becomes too complicated and takes away the little things that once made us feel safe. and then there's the war, the loss, the people who leave and never come back. it's heartbreaking how something so cruel can exist alongside such beautiful, peaceful moments but what y got me was the sound. that haunting little voice, the lullaby, the music... there's something about them that makes me feel both deeply sad and strangely at peace. i can't explain it. they hurt, but they also comfort me. they make me nostalgic for something i can't even put into words, as if i'm mourning a world i've never known Mmaybe that's what makes this film so special to me. it doesn't need to explain everything or give every image a clear meaning. it just lets you feel. and somewhere between the childhood memories, the war, the music, and all those little moments of tenderness, i found something beautiful. a little bit of hope, a little bit of sadness, and the feeling that even when everything changes, some part of us will always long for the warmth we once knew * > *i might not have understood every piece of it, but i know what it made me feel. and honestly, that's enough for me* ***List๐โ[Beyond the Screen: My DefinitiveใfvใPicks ๐๏ธ๐ฅ](https://boxd.it/UfYE6)***
