Poor Things
Sometimes, the world is a wonder. This film,i was hearing very high praise and also seeing that Emma Stone won over a Very good Lilly Gladstone,it surely had to be good, and yes it was.this is another story time review so brace yourselves. I’ve always been called abnormal of sorts,i haven’t eaten the way society normally expects you to,talk things and talk in the pitch that society doesn’t expect you to,i spend a lot of time talking to myself,in my own thoughts and there’s days when i just become dumbfounded and go back to default settings,I’ve always had issues with being normal as such,I was diagnosed with Dyslexia when i was 6 and my handwriting still fucking sucks,I have ADHD and i had SEN Teachers in my school life, and yet this movie,it spoke,it resonated to a frequency where it was blending to my own frequency,Bella Baxter saw the world in a wonderful way through her journey, furious jumping aside,It showed people that, the world is a place to explore, for cultures to be seen, for experiences to be felt, and I think,i’ve always had difficulty in a way,i’ve sometimes not spoken properly and even now i have difficulty, particularly in my own language,i Might be on the spectrum who knows but,Bella, was learning, she saw the world with doey eyes and wanted to learn,to seek, but most importantly, she carved a new identity, she became the person she became and that’s something i still struggle with,it took me so much years, and it’s still taking me time to find out who i am,what is my purpose. Bella grew up in a house with doctors and scientists,I grew up in a normal household but we had a deep and true love for Cinema,Bella traveled around Europe,I just traveled via cinema, but i think me and her,we just explored and connected, sing your own song, dance your own ways,it doesn’t matter. the world couldn’t care 2 shits,i’ve always tried to fit in until i realized,im amazing the way i am so now i’ve started to become this personwho loves Movies to death, who loves music, art and also, thinking and linking about this art to my life. i’ve found my calling.
