Ginger Snaps
I love how this film uses lycanthropy to represent the feeling of "becoming a woman" socially. Speaking from my personal perspective as a trans men who had his first period at age 10, the sensation this film evokes is what i've been feeling for the past 11 years. The lycanthrope is a body that changes involuntarily and is rejected without having the chance to be understood. Btw, the use of practical effects adds an extra charm to this piece <3
