A CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE. other than the fact that this film is iconic on its own and impacted generations of film lovers - theres some sort of magic in this that never fails to enthral me ever since i was a child

that one scene of luke staring into two suns in tatooine gets me crying EVERYTIME. this film shaped me into the person i am today and made me fall in love with films so 🤷‍♀️

this has got to be the best stand alone star wars film by far. its the perfect bridge between ep 3 and 4 and that star wars “essence” was perfectly embodied throughout the film. AND THAT LAST SCENE GAVE ME GOOSEBUMPS

jar jar binks was annoyed tf outta me but the fight with darth maul was EVERYTHING !!!!!

i love love LOVE the visuals in this and the soundtrack but otherwise i felt unsatisfied? its more like a filler movie that builds up to ep 3. but anyways, PADME ATE !!!
