The Invite

Holy shit this is such a good movie. The fast pace of it all is so intriguing and I love how in depth you can go with the characters. The jokes land and the tension is so well done. Every time I heard the violins start playing I knew something crazy was going to happen. This is the most perfect ending I've seen for a movie I think ever. Spoilers Ahead: At the end when hawk and pína disappear it completely changes the way you see the whole movie. Because the way my friends and I see it is that hawk and pína are who joe and Angela want to be, they aren't real and are the best versions of themselves. It adds a crazy layer to the movie that made it so much better. Especially when hawk and pína start fighting because Joe and Angela are in such a bad state that their argument starts leaking into their perfect world.
