Love watching movies during my free time. I got a lil too much free time

Spielberg made disclosure day even though this already existed. Also the film with the most unnecessary kissing scene of all time.

This is what historical epics nowadyas lack in, some real heart in it and Hans Zimmers. Seriously the score of this film is truly underrated. I'm going to drop myrating for The Odyssey just cuzovies like this exists.

My mind immediately started drawing parallels to Severance. Much of the backrooms concept revolves around the mysterious nature of the office/backrooms. The deliberate decision to keep the workings of this environment is what gives tugs at the curiousity of the audience. While this does create an interest in the audience much of the emotion and heart of the story is on the characters personal journey and this is where the backrooms lacks in. The characters simple do not have a compelling enough backstory and a sort of character that makes the audience root for them throughout the movie. While the conpect of the backrooms is very interesting I simple don't think there was enough for it to be made into a 1 hour 50 min movie. Nevertheless it was nice to watch a movie that is unique and creative, which is unlike the repetitive crap that is out nowadays.

Hate to be that guy that differce from the rest but I don't really get what makes people call this movie amazing. Yes it has great visuals and a really solid score but the pacing of the movie felt a little too quick for my liking. I did prefer the slowed down pace of the second half, the scenes with less mythical elements really felt heavy and impactful and I will say that many of the supernatural elements in the first half felt a bit lackluster and devoid of a certain gravity to the situation that Odeesesus found himself in and I think credit goes to Anne Hathaway and Tom Holland, who really emphasise and give the stakes for Odeesesus' entire character ark in the movie, which just based on Matt Damon's performance would have not been anywhere close to what we got in the film. And I mean Nolan's strength was never his writing but it was so obviously the weakest element of this film, and I need to clarify that I don't mean this in a, 'oh! He called Odeesesus dad', but a generally weak dialogues throught.
