Kill Bill: Vol. 2

okok basically i think vol 1&2 are widely different. i enjoyed both equally and thought they were fabulous but for different reasons. you're there for the action and the fast pace for vol 1 whereas vol 2 is anxiety inducing and the dialogue if perfect. at the start of this i was thinking to myself "it's taking a bit long to get into the main chunk of the story" but as we got to the 30-40 minute ISH mark i retracted that. the "Elle and I" chapter has to be one of the best if not THE BEST piece Tarantino has ever made. it is definitely up there with the "burger scene" from pulp fiction. the fucking black mamba snake had me on edge. NOTE TO SELF: get yourself a beard like pai mei. her daughter was absolutely adorable by the way 🥹. overall loved it
