okok. first of all jack nicholson's facial expressions and eyes throughout the whole film were genuinely horrifying, straight away you could tell that he was going to be an issue. the kid reminded me so much of the boy in sixth sense they're both genuinely so talented. also the fact that this was 1980 is one of the most diabolical parts of this film. all the colour contrasts were perfect and just captured the eerie nature of it all. thank you wendy carlos and rachel elkind by the way for that iconic original score because it straight away sets the tone and keeps the consistency of the storyline. rip dick gone too soon bruh 💔
