Clue

Clue ending 1- how I adored you.  I’m such a sucker for old movies. They always rank higher to me than stuff that’s come out recently. And this movie has my man Christopher Lloyd so what’s not to love.  This movie was a chaotic, campy masterpiece, and it’s honestly wild that it took me this long to see it. The entire ensemble cast is on fire. Tim Curry puts on a brilliant performance as Wadsworth (I saw him and I screamed- thank you Home Alone 2 ♥️). But let’s talk about the real reason we’re here today…Christopher Lloyd. He’s unhinged in the best way as Professor Plum, delivering lines with such manic energy that you can’t help but laugh every time he’s on screen. Anytime I watch that man in anything he solidifies himself as one of my favorite actors of that generation. The first ending ties everything together with a perfect mix of slapstick humor and clever twists. It’s one big, absurd puzzle where everyone’s got a secret, and the laughs come non-stop. It’s like the film knows it’s ridiculous and has a blast with it. Between the witty dialogue, the killer (haha y’all see what I did there) cast, and Lloyd’s hysterical performance, this movie is a comedy classic that never gets old. (I may not have seen the other endings but I have a right to say that considering AMC re-released it in theaters and my theatre was full at 3pm.) I will definitely be watching this movie again.
