This conspiracy theory film feels both original and familiar, gaining strength from a balance between real events and a stylized, fictional approach. Travolta is highly convincing as an ordinary technician, and the production avoids slipping into farce. Because it centers on media technology, the shot compositions are often inventive. One point that bothers me is the Philadelphia setting; I would have preferred a more vibrant and picturesque city.

A delightful allegorical film about navigating life, set in 1970s New York City and shot with subtle attention to urban landscapes - making it an excellent time capsule for late-1970s New York. The lively music, playful dialogue, and actors’ full dedication to occasionally unusual roles create an engaging, enjoyable experience. Bonus: As a story about a journey through the unknown, the film includes both direct and indirect references to the Odyssey.

Hand drawn animation gives such a different feel to this movie - almost like a Ghibli movie. Character of Lilo is very compelling. And for the most part the story does not take shortcuts. Bonus is the integration of Elvis Presley’s music. I really like that Lilo & Stitch makes a most sincere effort to be authentic.
