Unbreakable

M. Night’s best work in my opinion. A compelling superhero film that really is just a brilliant father-son drama. It’s never subtle in its thematic presence & symbolism allowing it to be that much more welcoming of its brilliant narrative. I love the mood, I love the drama, and I especially love the juxtaposition of both David Dunn & Elijah. Every shot & the camera work is like an image from a comic book that is never far from its realism. The music just elevates it all even higher.  It’s simple & complex, while still be equally compelling.  One of the all time great super-hero films.
