The Curse
An out of this world television event that lulled most viewers to sleep with its awkward-funny/uncomfy criticisms of neoliberalism (wrongly, it was some high quality, nuanced, and considerate critique) before violently turning into one of the most mind-melting and nightmarish last 1:30:00 of television to ever be aired… on the surface it seems like they may have sacrificed some thematic levels to make that turn with such an inherent lack of plot resolution, but upon further examination I feel it’s not only possible to make heads or tails of what Fielder, Stone, and Safdie are trying to say, but that what can be learned is also important and immensely thought provoking.
