The Running Man
Was the script great? No
Was it kind of clunky? You bet.
Was the book better? Yes
Was Edward Wright anywhere to be found? Not really.
Do I have a soft spot in my heart for the 1987 version? Absolutely.
But I fucking LOVED this. Sometimes you just need an underdog action movie, and the casting was great. Michael Cera was a lunatic and Colman Domingo was a great addition. Even Josh Brolin filled the shoes of Richard Dawson as the original Killian.
