Prisoners

Pray for the best, but prepare for the worst. For most of the film the prisoners are the girls, but around halfway through we start to feel that title shift towards the parents that are left behind. A mother languishing in depression, stuck in beddrugged up and unable to function. Two fathers committing unspeakable acts and breaking every vow they held sacred, one of whom ends up a literal prisoner.
