Inglourious Basterds

98/100 In my opinion, this is Quentin Tarantino's directorial masterpiece. Pulp Fiction may be his Mona Lisa but this is his vitruvian man. What this movie does best is the constant feeling of dread and tension. The opening scene and the basement bar scene are two of the best tension filled scenes in film. I haven't seen this film in such a long time that I forgot how horrifying Hans Landa is. He pretty much plays like a Sherlock Holmes but evil. This movie also has one of th top three to five best performances of Brad Pitt's career as Lt.Aldo Raine. For what its worth, anyone that does not have this movie in their top two favorite Tarantino movies of all time is crazy.
