The Shining

I mean it’s The Shining. It would be weird not to have it really high. Ironically this movie really didn’t scare me at all but I was just so fascinated by the acting, visuals and the plot. This is my favorite Kubrick movie ( I’m basic af) as I believe this is the best blend of plot and his visuals for me. Nicholson throws insane heat throughout this movie although I understand he had to lose best actor that year because of Deniro in Raging Bull. However, how was he not even nominated? Also, I just want to give Shelley Duvall a hug after watching this and knowing about her treatment behind the scenes.
