Vertigo

Alfred Hitchcock is an absolute genius. The way he shoots his shots is just outstanding. I have seen Rear Window and North By Northwest so I knew what to expect out of his movies and this somehow exceeded it? This movie is probably Jimmy Stewart's best performance sans christmas movies. The way he lets you follow the story with him shows how talented he really is. One look from his face can say it all. Kim Novak is also brilliant in this movie playing a very mysterious character that keeps you intrigued the entire time. As usual, the technicolor was fantastic, making me wish that we can somehow bring technicolor back into the movies. Overall, I give this movie a 97/100.
