Spirited Away

i gotta say.... i ADORE animated films. there's no way to capture the whimsy and adventure seen in this film via any other medium. the art style is so beatutiful, and coupled with that, the worldbuilding is incredibly in depth, each factor tying into the story in a meaningful way. i was never confused, i was always intrigued, wanting to know more about the characters and the spirit world. oh, and chihiro is a fantastic protagonist. i eat up coming of age EVERY TIME!!! miyazaki is honestly one of the best to ever do it. i will watch more ghbli films, i swear to god. if you haven't watched this, you need to get on it asap it's so peak.
