Holy fucking shit this was amazing. I’m gonna start off with the vibe. Completely different than X. X was more traditional slasher and this was literally wizard of oz. From the colours to the editing to the sound it was just amazing. And what makes this movie is 1000% the performance. She. Fucking. Carried this. That 9 minute monologue almost had me crying if these girls weren’t laughing the whole time. Everything about her was unsettling. Perfection. Her scream? chefs kiss. That fight scene with the mother? Phenomenal performances on both ends. Overall just a great fucking horror film. A24, you have done it again.
