Elfen Lied

After many many years, I finally got around finishing Elfen Lied. I think it was my very first taste of Seinen anime when I was way younger, but I never went further than the first episode because it was too complex to find the show in proper quality online. But with today's technology and a little help from the internet that problem was solved easily . So guess what I did at the start of the summer... !! Now for the actual review: The anime is good. Just not at good as I thought it would be. But that doesn't mean it was bad. Matter of fact, it was pretty entertaining and funny. There even were some emotionally moving parts near the end (last episode had me bawling) and quite a lot of relatable existential dialogues/themes that were included. Some characters and situations throughout the story lead up to nothing but it's not that big of a deal since I could easily look passed those flaws. Also the score is so good even my mom would stick around every time the theme song would start playing because she loves that typa music. Overall, solid anime. Not THAT deep, but it still hit me right in the feels ::)
