Sing Street

an almost perfect movie. it made me feel so many warm and fuzzy feelings!! i love the band, i love the music, i love conor, i love raphina, i love how eamon loves his rabbits. i went into it expecting a straight on comedy, and that's what it was at the beginning (there were many moments that had me laughing and grinning like an idiot), and then the tone shifted to something a lot more delicate and heartfelt. if i'm being completely honest, i did miss some of that humor in the rest of the film, but the emotional beats were enough to make up for it. conor is such an excellent main character. he's so genuine and enthusiastic about life and music in a way i could only hope to be. i love the changes he goes through throughout the course of the film; it all feels so rewarding. it makes me feel inspired to write a song, even though i wouldn't know where to start lol anywayyy love this movie and the riddle of the model deserved soty :'))))))
