Slacker

i don't know if i have the experience or the authority when it comes to film to have a "favorite director", but...richard linklater. every single movie of his i've seen i have instantly connected with. i rarely give out five star ratings---especially on a first viewing---but slacker made me laugh, it made me think, and it somehow managed to make texas look beautiful. so for that, i think the five stars are well-deserved. :')
