The Parent Trap
WHATTTA BEAUTIFUL MOVIE MAN!!!!!
*a concord takes half the time to fly here
*WELL TOOK ME EVEN HALF OF THAT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE!!!
the opening credits,
they were rolling, I was loving the movie, they were rolling, I was loving the movie more and more and more—has stopped happening btw, these days i just open a movie and stop it within a minute and go back to instagram— not with this one though.
where was I? Yeah, opening credits, gosh so beautiful, I was immediately at love w the movie.
a thought struck me 'whos directed this beautiful thing'; SURELY cannot be a MAN!!??! righttt?
just as the thought elapsed - open credits - by nancy mayers
Damn fucking ever am I wrong?
knew it. such a graceful opening— a man could never ever.
annie hallie, I want to be friends with them man. such a lovely pair. so cute, so funny, beautiful, smart, so adorable little pretty whimsy girls. watching them made my day. such a lovely wardrobe they shared, wow, I'm a fan. what a job have the girls done. sweetest acting by the girls ORRRRRR should I SAY GIRL'
fuck I googled them— wanted to see more about twins being actors — SHOOT ITS A SINGLE PERSON PLAYING BOTH OF THEM... hellloooooo!???!!
Lindsay Lohan played both of them alone¡¡!¡¡ All this time I was expecting that what a lovely pack of twins, how good are they acting, how distinct their roles are, what a house it must be having two such lovely actor sisters around all the time.
Wow, first of all pulling the production off with them sharing the screen and second to Lindsay, what a performance, what a performance[s] girl.
what a beautiful movie, I just loved it so much. i hadn't seen it before. I don't watch such type of movies usually—90s hollywood family comic dramas involving children ish. fucking gotten used to watch serious grainy movies directed by 50 yr old dudes fucking with all the serious narratives and all that fucking leone d’Oro n palme d'or shit. but man these type of movies are so beautiful, so funny so relaxing. you aren't supposed to squeeze your forehead and workout the plots and build a narrative and what not.
you just sit and enjoy the beautiful story— with cute little people in this pretty case.
I was smiling so much watching this. First part when it was the camp— that was so jolly, the entire summer camp sequence. The music and the songs were so fitting too. When they reach london and that one song goes like ♪♪♪here comes the sun♪♪♪ now I might not know about the song and all but I know, that comes from them Beatles and the next thing hallie and lizzy do is walk across the abbey road crossing, it was so cute. all the rest of the songs and music was also perfect make no mistake.
when hallie tells elizabeth the truth, I was literally martin. I had tears in my eyes and I couldn't even cry because I was in the damn train. I love Martin so much. these type of siders are the ones who make the movies make a place in your hearts. Jessy too, such a lovely lady. Elizabeth, what a woman wow. her and nicks repatching was so wholesome, everyone was surely rooting for it. they look so beautiful together. a brit woman sketching those beautiful dresses and a american man with a tounge for wines meeting on a boat and marrying on a boat. this is what fairytale is.
where the dreams have no end...
hallie annie, why can't we have a seperate holiday movie just with these two girls. both were so alike yet so different. they had such a lovely set of character arcs. at first I thought both these girls were annoying bad bitches, but that flipped to butterflies so quickly once they came to know the truth. as much as I didn't want to cry, the ending just couldn't be a dam for my tears. I cried I crode. so much love is shown in this movie that I feel it made me a better person. therapy. I'd give it six stars if I could.
