Psycho
watched this in a hall with a live orchestra playing the score... it was the best movie experience ever.
listening back to the score, having heard it in live orchestra makes a small difference. on its own, the score really makes this film great. but that subtle difference really made me feel uneasy in my seat, always moving around (a good thing for a horror/thriller). truly an iconic score.
the story itself was amazing too. i really liked the twist at the end even though i could kinda have seen it coming. i really love movies that touch on mental disorders and multiple identities in one body.
nothing much to say but classic. many iconic scenes and imagery that will definitely be on my mind for a long long time. like the toilet scene and the final shot of bate superimposed into mother's skull and marrion's car.
