Inception

Inception is a personal favorite of mine because of its ability to capture the audience. Nolan is able to blend explosive action, a well-thought-out story, and futuristic cinematics to the degree of no other. Combining the elements of science fiction seamlessly with a heist provides for an interesting exposition of film. A star-studded cast is able to deliver solid performances throughout as enjoyable characters. Cobb's relationship with his children and wife adds an emotional impact to the story that resonates with the audience. Hans Zimmer once again delivers a tremendous score that possesses the intense moments of the film so well. Inception was one of the first true movies that delivered to me as a viewer. It grabbed me into the world and provided a sophisticated yet understandable experience where I found myself entranced.
